1. The Official DC Wine Fest: Fall Edition

The Official DC Wine Fest is an all-day and all-night event where visitors can enjoy premium wine sampling with live entertainment to create a festive ambiance to the day.
As a wine-tasting event, guests will have an opportunity to attend wine tastings and sample a wide array of wines. If there is a particular wine that you enjoy, you will have the opportunity to purchase it before going home. Wine samples are included in the price of your tickets so you may enjoy wine sampling throughout the event.
Tickets are available for Early Admission, General Admission, and Sessions 1, 2, and 3. Early Admission tickets give you an extra hour of access to the festival as opposed to General Admission.
As an over 21 event, unfortunately, children cannot attend with their parents.
2. Drink the District Wine Festival: Winter Edition

- Time: Session 1: 14:00 to 16:30. Session 2: 18:00 to 20:30

Drink the District Wine Festival is a wine-tasting event in Washington that has a wide array of wines available to sample, and bottles of wine to purchase before you leave the festival. Over 50 wines will be available including a select few French favorites.
A demonstration kitchen will be available to teach visitors how to wine taste like a pro and there will be a roaming Sommelier team available to answer any questions you may have. The artisan market will give visitors access to local small businesses and their items.
There are 4 ticket types available for purchase. General Admission costs $60, Early Bird General Admission costs $40, Early Bird Drink Lovers Package costs $80, and the Drink Lovers Package costs $100.
You will receive a commemorative festival cup as part of your ticket. Live music and entertainment will keep visitors entertained during the event which is sure to be a fun and festive day.
3. Wine N’ Whiskey Experience
- Location: Umaya, 733 10th Street Northwest, Washington, DC, 20001
- Date: Saturday, October 22 to Sunday, October 23
- Time: 22:00 on Saturday to 3:00 on Sunday, EDT
- Price: $0 to $15
Hosted by the Homecoming at the Mecca, Wine N’ Whiskey at Umaya Lounge is a fun evening for wine lovers and whiskey connoisseurs. This event is targeted toward young professionals and creates in the District of Columbia.
While general Table RSVP is free, Pre-Sale Admission to the event is $15 (not including tax). All ticket sales will end on October 22, 2022. During the event, visitors will be able to sample a wide array of whiskey and wine throughout the evening.
This event forms part of Homecoming at the Mecca which is when the “brightest and best” converge at Howard University in Washington DC for a great celebration of the university.
This will be the first event held by the university in 2 years which they are using to motivate making it the best series of events they can manage.
4. French Embassy Cabaret Concert and Wine Reception

- Date: Friday, October 21, 2022
- Time: 19:00 to 21:30
- Price: $75 for General Admission
Hosted by the International Club of DC and the RCAS, the Cabaret Concert and Wine Reception is an evening where visitors can enjoy classical music and a wine reception. For a limited time, early bird tickets are available for $55 per person, after which they can be bought for $75 for general admission.
The wine reception is a good time to sample different wines you would not necessarily buy while mingling with the other visitors at the event. There is no dinner at the event, so it is suggested you have something to eat before the evening starts.
This event is a fundraiser for RCAS (Russian Chamber Arts Society) which wish to unite others through the power of music and a shared essence of humanity. All RCAS proceeds will be donated to humanitarian aid.
Music will be performed by an operatic double bill by Rimsky-Korsakov and Rachmaninov. This classical music performance will be performed by Inna Dukach (Soprano), Anton Belov (Baritone), Tatiana Loisha (Piano), Fanyong Du (Tenor), Grigory Soloviov (Bass), and Vera Danchenko-Stern (Piano).
