Welcome to Drink Stack, one of the most trusted resources in the beverage industry since our inception in 2013. Our community of beverage lovers are on a mission to help our readers take the pain away from finding the information they need, first time, every time.

Our Mission

To us, the beverage industry is one of the most exciting industries to be involved in. From the hundreds of wine regions, grape varieties, and vineyards, to the many coffee brewing, roasting and grinding methods and even mixing the perfect cocktail to complement your evening or vibe.

We’ve brought together knowledgeable writers, bloggers, amateurs, and experts to tell you what they’ve learned, and what you need to know and to pass on the advice they’ve picked up over the years.

Our team, which comprises of everything from baristas to vineyard owners, sommeliers, to craft beer brewers and whiskey, gin and cocktail specialists. Each of our writers and contributors to the Drink Stack website have put in an insane amount of time, energy and money to figure out what is worth your time and hard earned dollars, and what can be written off as junk.

We believe each person deserves the very best, no matter their tastes, and our mission is help you level up your beverage making skills.

Meet The Team

Adam is a Canadian-based freelance editor and writer. Having spent several years as a critic on various media sites covering film, TV and literature he found a passion for the editing and site-building process through his various administrative roles. Now his focus is in helping others to create engaging content through the editorial process.

In his downtime Adam enjoys writing on passion projects, spending time with his dog Lily, reading, or watching cheesy movies with his friends.

Rebecca has been a blogger for over 5 years, before that enjoying a number of jobs to fund her passion for travel.

She’s taught English as a foreign language in 5 different countries, been a part-time Barista, a waitress, and a tour guide around some of Europe’s finest vineyards.

She the one behind the social channels here at Drink Stack whilst somehow finding the time to operate the website WayToStay.com with her partner Will ❤

Ryan is a full time freelance writer who can most often be found on the disc golf course or local coffee shop when not behind a keyboard.

He is an avid traveler and lover of all things sports and outdoors. Ryan is also a certified level one sommelier, and is endlessly curious about the world of high end beverages.

Writing about wine, coffee, and other specialty beverages has given him a chance to take a deeper dive into his research, and he loves helping people find the perfect drink for their palates and preferences!

A Canada-based freelance writer, Kurt acquired his bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Windsor. He began his professional writing career while in school as a sports journalist.

Upon graduating, Kurt left the courtside media desk behind and began venturing the globe. Throughout his journeys, Kurt enjoys partaking in slow travel and loves to explore the histories and cultures of each destination, which he shares with others through his writing.

Will is a true digital nomad, taking his work on the road at every opportunity. His first love is coffee, with whiskey a close 2nd.

He loves nothing more than enjoying a perfectly brewed coffee with spectacular scenery whilst he coordinates behind the scenes of the Drink Stack blog!

Charl is a trainer, public speaker, and professional writer. While he has been coached to niche down, he has many passions. These include golf, gardening, technology, and a decent cup of coffee or two. Charl loves to learn about new products and tries everything he writes about.

Born in the UK, grew up in Africa, and now live in India with my kids! I have over 15 years of experience as a writer, editor, author, and blogger.
In my free time I enjoy Yoga, gardening, and gaming with my kids.

My name’s Ashe and I’m a B2B copywriter, digital marketer, and graphic designer for the coffee, tea, and alcohol niches. Here I share industry news, review products, and analyze social trends.

Mark Philip is a writer and lifestyle enthusiast from the Midlands in the U.K. With a background in martial arts and fitness, Mark headed out to Bangkok, Thailand where he now lives and works.

Mark has authored e-books, articles, and blogs across a wide range of topics for commercial, educational, factual, lifestyle and leisure-based purposes.

Jason is a Colorado based freelance writer and blogger whose goal is to share a good cup of coffee and great stories around a campfire with close friends.

When he’s not working, he spends most of his time traveling, searching for the best breweries, and road-tripping in his teardrop trailer with his wife, daughter, and two dogs.

Diga heads up a team of assistants focused on web pages from the design & UX point of view. Her team pride themself on their attention to detail and the ability to get things done.

On a personal front, she is a family-orientated person, loves to travel, read books, and spend time with family & friends.

Growth & Future Plans

In 2020, Drink Stack purchased a number of related competitor websites that we thought would be better served under our management and brand. These acquisitions were part of a long-term plan to become the number one beverage blog online.
