So how do you take this experience to the highest level? You invest in a luxury coffee maker.

Luxury coffee makers are the best products for your home, allowing you to make perfect coffee. These high-end products feature impressive finishes, the best quality grinders, and features that make brewing coffee a joy.

In this article, we will introduce you to some of our favorite luxury coffee makers and give you some helpful advice on how to select the right luxury machine for your coffee brewing enjoyment.

How to Choose the Best Luxury Coffee Maker

Luxury coffee makers are designed to bring added convenience and improvement to your coffee brewing process. But many people are left boggled by the range of features, brewing types, and prices of luxury coffee makers.

If you’re stuck in buying confusion, we’ve put together a list of product features that you should consider when shopping for the right luxury coffee maker.

And don’t forget, you don’t have to spend a ton for a great luxury coffee maker. While there are some products out there that are quite pricey, there are also great affordable options as well.

Things to consider Before Buying a Luxury Coffee Maker

things before buying a luxury coffee maker

Type of Machine

You’ll not find a luxury coffee machine that makes every type of coffee, so you need to decide what kind of coffee you love the most and want to perfect.

There are some really great options in the luxury realm for making pour-over, drip, and espresso. You can also find some really great options if you really like the convenience of single-serve pod machines.

Capacity

There is a range of capacity options when it comes to luxury coffee makers. You’ll want to think about how many people you’ll be serving or if you just want to use this machine for your particular enjoyment.

Drip coffee makers will have larger capacities, but some options may allow you to make just a single cup as well. In general, drip machines range in capacity from 10 to 14 cups. Pour-over, espresso, pod machines,  and cold brew options generally tend to have smaller capacities than a luxury drip coffee maker.

Machine Size

Machine size is a really important consideration especially if you have a smaller kitchen. A luxury coffee maker is a great kitchen addition, but if it doesn’t fit in your space, or takes up your entire counter, then it probably isn’t a great pick.

To avoid selecting a machine that won’t work in your space, make sure to measure your space and then look for machines with dimensions that fit in this space, this is particularly true if you are looking for a good under-cabinet coffee maker.

Extra Features

Many luxury coffee makers come with features that add to brewing enjoyment. Look for options that increase convenience, make your coffee taste better, or make that pot of coffee go a little further.

Examples of extras that you might want to consider on your luxury coffee maker include: a built-in grinder, warming plate, insulated carafe, milk frother, or steam wand.

Operation extras that are nice to have are a notification when brewing is complete, an auto-start function, and a reminder that it’s time to clean your machine.

Some luxury machines even have a cleaning function that allows you to clean your machine without a ton of effort.

Cleaning

You’ll want to consider how easy cleaning your luxury coffee machine is when you are shopping for the right product. A clean coffee maker is the best way to make a great cup of coffee.

However, if it is incredibly difficult to clean your machine, you may end up dissatisfied with the quality of the machine and your coffee.

We really like machines that have a self-clean function and a notification of when to clean the machine. This feature makes cleaning your luxury coffee maker simple and fast.

Not all machines will have this feature, so do look for luxury coffee makers that are easy to disassemble, have dishwasher safe parts, and come with good instructions on how to clean properly.
