Wine festivals are a fun way to enjoy a day out, drink good wine, eat good food, and enjoy live entertainment. They are a way to taste new wines you may not have experienced before and select some new wines to take home with you.

Among the many states that host wine festivals are Nevada. Nevada is situated along the Western Region of the United States, bordered by Oregon, Idaho, California, Arizona, and Utah.

1. Las Vegas Food & Wine Festival

Tivoli Village is the location at which the Las Vegas Food & Wine Festival takes place. The festival features a wide array of spirits and wine from across the world. Some of the world’s best culinary talents feature at the event, making and providing food from an array of cuisines and origins.

By staying at the Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, you could receive 2 VIP passes to the grand tasting event at the Tivoli Village on Friday night. Staying at the hotel on Saturday night will give you the same allowance of 2 VIP passes to the grand tasting event at Tivoli Village on Saturday night.

VIP Admission starts from 20:00 and ends at 23:30 while General Admission starts at 22:00until 23:30. Among the various events hosted at the Tivoli Village aside from the Food & Wine Festival is a Chocolate Festival, Beer Festival, and Champagne & Chef.

2. Food Truck Mania at Henderson Booze District

This event is a one-day festival that features numerous food trucks, wine, and beer. A feature of nine food trucks will be available for perusal, with an offering ranging from Hawaiian Street Tacos to Thai Food to Shaved Ice.

GBD 702 will have their special Oktoberfest menu available for purchase which will go well with the beverages available.

Drinks will be available from five main sources, with the featured winery being the Vegas Valley Winery. Aside from the wine, there will be beers, mead, and ale available from Astronomy Aleworks, Bad Beat Brewing, Crafthaus Brewery, and Deadwood Meadery.

The event is hosted by the Henderson Booze District at Vegas Valley Winery. Tickets are free to encourage people to go and reduce limiting visitors.

Food and drinks can be bought at the stalls and food trucks meaning you only need to pay for what you want.

3. 42nd Annual San Gennaro Feast

Live music will keep visitors entertained ranging from accordion players, violinists, and other folk music players. Singers will grace the event at various points to provide music to dance with or to enjoy while eating your food.

There are carnival games available to keep the children entertained and make this a fun event for all visitors. These games include a Ferris wheel, spinning cups, and zip lines.

Food is available for purchase from fine cuisine to festival food like hot chips and pizza. Deserts including churros and donuts are available as well as the classic option of ice cream.

The theme of the event tends to be Italian cuisine which will come with food and wine fitting the description. If wine is not your preferred drink, there will be other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available.

The event starts on Wednesday 21 September and will run from 16:00 to 23:00. Thursday’s event will run from 16:00 to 23:00 while Friday is open from 16:00 to Midnight.

Saturday is open from 13:00 to midnight and Sunday will be open from 13:00 until 23:00. There is free parking available for the event.

4. 2022 Art, Wine & Music Fest

  • Time: 08:00 – 15:00
  • Tickets: $12 – $25

A Dutch Oven Gathering will run from 08:00 – 15:00 at Veteran’s Park. Food will be made during that time and will be available for purchase from 13:00. The cost for his event is $12 per person to get a sample plate.

Dig Deep 5-kilometer and 10-kilometer run will begin at 08:00 after a packet pick-up at 07:00. The 10km run will start at 08:00 followed by the 5km at 08:10 and the Historic walk at 08:15. Cost per person is $25 and can be a fun way to stay active during the festival.

For a fun activity for children, there is a Scavenger Hunt for Gold from 10:00 to 12:00. The cost per ticket is $15 per person or $25 per group of 2, and is a fun way to keep the children busy and active.

After the Scavenger Hunt, there is a Beer & Wine Walk from 13:00 to 17:00 for the adults. California wine, Basque picons, 10Torr vodka, artisan beer, and Two Bitch Bourbon are available to enjoy while on your walk.

For online registrations, a ticket can be bought for $25 with a take-home wine glass as a gift while at-the-door tickets will cost $35.

Aside from the events, there is an Art Fair, Line Dancing in the street, a silent auction, and live music to keep the family entertained while perusing the festival offerings.
