1. Finlandia Vodka

One of the most famous and popular Finnish vodka brands is Finlandia Vodka. This brand has been around for many years. It was first established back in 1970 by Alko Inc. Alko Inc is Finland’s “state-owned alcoholic beverage company”. Today the Finlandia Vodka brand is owned by the Brown–Forman Corporation.

Finlandia Vodka is made from Finnish-grown barley, which is distilled into a spirit that is neutral. This brand of vodka is made in the village of Koskenkorva, but it is not the same as the Koskenkorva Vodka brand.

Once the alcohol has been distilled, it is then transported to a production facility in another village. The village the distilled alcohol is transported is known as Rajamäki. In Rajamäki, the alcohol is blended with pure glacial spring water, flavored if needed, and then finally bottled.

Finlandia Vodka offers a wide range of popular vodkas. There are a number of unflavored vodkas produced by this brand as well as several flavored varieties. Some of the more enjoyed flavors include Finlandia Cucumber and Mint, Finlandia Wildberry and Rose, Finlandia Mango, Finlandia Blackcurrant, and Finlandia Nordic Berries.

If you are not a fan of flavored vodkas, there is the original Finlandia Classic as well as the Finlandia 101.

There is no limit to how you can enjoy your Finlandia vodka. This brand can be sipped on ice, downed straight as a shot, or mixed in with your favorite cocktails.

If you are feeling adventurous, you could try your hand at mixing your own drink with your favorite soda or even your favorite fruit juice.

2. Ström Vodka

Not much is known about the Strom Vodka brand. What is understood about this brand, however, is that it is a premium vodka. Strom is distilled by a company in Finland known as Shaman Spirits.

Strom Vodka is created using “spring-quality” ingredients. The raw ingredients that are used include grain, water, as well as surplus potatoes that have been harvested from the fields of Tyrnävä.

These fields are an “EU-graded high-grade potato production area” that produces only the best potatoes.

3. Koskenkorva Vodka

The final Finnish vodka brand is Koskenkorva Vodka. This vodka is made using the northernmost barley in the world. Most of the barley used is sourced locally within just a couple hundred miles from the Koskenkorva village. Said to be the other key ingredient in the process of making this vodka is pure Finnish spring water.

Pure Finnish spring water is the ingredient that is what gives Koskenkorva Vodka its smooth taste. The spring water is one hundred percent unfiltered and unprocessed water from Rajamäki.

Koskenkorva Vodka has created a way to keep the water quality so exceptional. This is done by establishing environmental protection in the area surrounding the spring.

With such top-quality ingredients, it is only right that the method and production equipment are state of the art. Koskenkorva Vodka is made using continuous distillation with the use of nine distillation columns.

After the careful production of this fine vodka, it is then bottled. Like the other Finnish vodka brands, there are several flavors of Koskenkorva Vodka available. Some common flavors of this vodka include Koskenkorva Raspberry Pine Vodka, Koskenkorva Blueberry Juniper Vodka, Koskenkorva Lemon Lime Yarrow Vodka, and Koskenkorva Forest Berries Vodka. And of course, there is the Koskenkorva Original Vodka.

One final type of vodka this brand makes is the Koskenkorva Vodka Organic, for those who are more health conscious.
